Assists a Nursing Director in the clinical management of designated nursing services. Supports the hospital's mission, goals, and vision. Facilitates professional autonomy, accountability, and competency. Assesses and plans for direct patient care and provides leadership within the nursing team. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the assigned patient population and for the decisions regarding nursing care or tasks delegated to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and practice.
