Rehabilitation hospitals have been the busiest private posters here, and rehabilitation nursing moves at a different speed from acute wards: a slow build with the same patients as they get their function back. The Army practical nursing specialty has a documented crosswalk into licensed practical nursing. That comes to 1,545 live nursing jobs here, the largest share of them from Veterans Health Administration, Military Treatment Facilities under DHA, and Indian Health Service, and Seattle, WA; Tacoma, WA; and San Antonio, TX carrying the most. Where pay is stated it runs $30k to $399k a year and 47% are federal positions.
