About the Position: This position is located at Naval Base Norfolk, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized.
- Perform all treatments and nursing procedures associated with patient care as directed, indicated, and/or prescribed.
- Observe and monitor patients' conditions.
- Perform various pulmonary treatments such as oxygen and nebulizer treatments through various means.
- Document all procedures and observations in the patient's medical record.
- Record vital signs, order labs and track patient’s laboratory orders.
