About the Position: This position is located at 56th Medical Group, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide comprehensive professional nursing services of an advanced nature requiring critical thinking skills.
- Screen and prioritize based on the patient’s condition and preferences, the situation, cultural and age-specific considerations, education level and health literacy, and/or anticipated need for urgent and emergent care.
- Document the information and data collected in a retrievable, understandable, and readable format in the medical record and/or other pertinent information system.
- Provides health education/coaching to patients, significant others, and/or family members/caregivers.
- Verify patients are informed of procedure purpose, risks, and benefits, and documents consent prior to invasive procedures.
