• Compensation: Starts at $34.00/hour, based on experience, education, and internal equity.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with an every-third-weekend rotation.

What You'll Do as a Registered Nurse

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgical procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, and evaluate) to guide care from admission through discharge.
• Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources as appropriate.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families throughout the care continuum.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience

• Previous Registered Nurse experience required.

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire.

• Lift, position, and transfer patients weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and patient movement activities.
• Manual dexterity and mobility necessary to provide nursing care.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and emergency situations.
• Rotating schedules may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fast-paced inpatient environment requiring flexibility and sound clinical judgment.
