About the Position: This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley Kansas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Obtain information from patient to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.
- Take all vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight); perform a behavioral health screening.
- Document patients' chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record.
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan; the nursing assessment; and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
- Prepare procedure rooms by ensuring required equipment, consent forms, etc. are available.
