- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Physician, you will: Provide substantial technical and scientific input into the planning, implementation, and analysis of scientific research studies and develops new concepts, methods, and strategies for obtaining and using data on major medical and public health risks. Establishes ongoing research collaborations with other CDC components, agencies, and institutions and coordinates scientific and public health research activities. Prepares and submits manuscripts reporting scientific findings and related policy issues for presentation at professional meetings and publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
