About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Work as the primary health care provider in an outpatient OB/GYN setting.
- Assess the physical and psychological health status of patients and/or their families through health and development history taking.
- Write prescriptions on non-legend and legend drugs after appraisal by the physician preceptor.
- Develop and conduct well-woman health promotions services, including establishing a schedule for pelvic examinations, pap test, mammographies and patient entities.
- Perform and/or request special screening tests, request laboratory tests and x-rays and uses the results in assessing the patient's medical problems.
