About the Position: Positions are located within the Dept of Surgery and Dept of Medicine at Fort Gordon, GA. Incumbent will provide routine and specialized care to patients in various clinic settings. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide practical nursing care to a diverse patient population with a variety of medical conditions.
- Perform nursing tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion for assigned patients.
- Initiate and maintain medical histories for patients, records observations, and identifies symptoms for use by the clinician.
- Perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care.
- Conduct focused nursing assessment and contribute to the care plan for assigned patients.
