About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to provide a full range of professional social work services for active duty, retired military members, reservists when eligible for medical care, and their families. Clinical and administrative duties focus on education and prevention, psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, and evidenced-based interventions and treatment. Working hours typically 0730 - 1600 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Conducts intake evaluations and psycho-diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts comprehensive evaluations to address complex (interrelated biopsychoscocial) diagnostic and treatment issues.
- Prepares written evaluation reports with clinical impressions and recommendations.
- Accomplishes clinical intake interviews with patients, to include family history, biopsychosocial history, developmental history, and presenting problems together with any relevant secondary information.
- Provides a wide range of therapeutic measures that are geared toward securing cognitive and mental adjustments by recognizing and resolving problems relating to the patient’s attitudes toward themselves, family, and associates.
