About the Position: Position located within Guthrie Army Health Clinic, Managed Care Division at Fort Drum NY. Salary negotiation may be authorized for those new to federal employment. - Assist the physician with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
- Prepare medications and immunizations for administration.
- Perform physician-ordered procedures such as injections, nebulizer treatments, and wound dressing changes.
- Document vital signs, medication administration, treatments, specimen collections, patient complaints, and instructive education.
