In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with incredible nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality, personalized care that helps our patients thrive.
What You’ll Do (Your Impact)
- Deliver Hands-On Care: Support patients with warmth and dignity through daily activities (ADLs), regular clinical procedures, and essential comfort care.
- Be the Eyes and Ears: Monitor vital signs and track changes in patient conditions, acting as a crucial line of communication for our nursing and medical teams.
- Collaborate and Connect: Partner closely with an interdisciplinary team under the guidance of our Nurse Manager and Director to ensure seamless, age-specific patient care.
- Keep It Accurate: Maintain high standards of documentation, accurately recording patient milestones and interactions in their medical records.
What We’re Looking For
- Certification: Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

- Team Player: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates seamlessly with Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Prefers a high school diploma or GED.
- Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience.
- Must complete approved Valleywise Health computer classes.
- Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Requires a BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center is preferred and will be required within 3 months.
- Ambulatory Clinics/Desert Vista - Unit 2 Adolescent: Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present an actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
Compensation details: 22-22 Hourly Wage
