The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager. This position will serve as the Nurse Manager for Homeless Programs, within Social Work Service.
- The Nurse Manager duties include but are not limited to: Oversees the operation of assigned nursing units / nursing staff within homeless programs, and provides coverage for other Nurse Managers as needed. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to establish efficient, effective, and Veteran-centered processes of care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of age-specific and population-appropriate care. Contributes to the development of care delivery models and environmental design. Coordinates care focused on patient education, self-management, and satisfaction across the continuum of care. Ensures appropriate administrative support and guidance while providing oversight for nursing personnel. Engages in professional organizations to enhance leadership and career growth.
