About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), Department of Research at Bethesda, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Coordinate between principal investigator, subjects and research staff.
- Clinical Trial Coordinator participates in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation strategies of selected research studies and participant recruitment in accordance with research parameters.
- Oversee the comprehensive planning, designing, scheduling and implementation of clinical activities of these studies.
- Perform nursing assessments, including monitoring vital signs and collecting traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health histories.
- Ensure the optimum care and treatment of research participants.
