About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
- Assess, diagnose, and manages a diverse range of obstetric and gynecological conditions in an outpatient clinic/virtual settings.
- Conducting routine or complex prenatal, obstetrical and gynecological examinations, performing, interpreting and appropriately responds to results of diagnostic testing, and screening including fetal assessment.
- Develop tailored educational programs that address the specific needs of each patient and their family, focusing on education goals and patient actions for health promotion and disease prevention.
- The incumbent is responsible for documenting care and keeping medical records in compliance with federal regulations and facility requirements.
- Systematically reviews current clinical practices, identifying new clinical guidance from specialty, regulatory and MTF directives for implementation, identifying areas for improvement based on measurable data.
