Registered Nurse - Quality Management Consultant oversees quality management at Erie VAMC, including accreditation, safety, infection control, risk management, analytics, and veteran experience. Collects data, monitors compliance, supports services, leads improvement initiatives, investigates concerns, develops corrective actions, and advances HRO, Patient-Centered Care, Just Culture, and I CARE across the facility and CBOCs.
- Executes responsibilities demonstrating leadership, advanced clinical judgment, and innovative approaches to managing complex patient care. Provides performance and leadership broad enough to improve care for a defined group of patients. Responsible for documented outcomes at the program or service level, ensuring measurable impact. Develops, manages, and evaluates programs consisting of substantial, coordinated activities affecting patients and/or employees. Achieves broad and complex outcomes that may be demonstrated at the facility, VISN, or VACO level. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Quality experience, patient safety, infection control and risk management.
