About the Position: Serve as a Psychiatry Physician delivering comprehensive mental health services, providing high-quality, evidence-based care that supports medical readiness, promotes wellness, and ensures continuity of care at the Naval Health Clinic Annapolis in Annapolis, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Provide treatment services such as inpatient and outpatient services, partial hospitalization, and emergency psychiatric service.
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans and provide appropriate therapeutic treatment services.
- Determine and provide mental health assessments of fitness and suitability for duty.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness through evidence-based medicine.
- Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations of patients.
