About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico Resource Management Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Serve as the clinic’s nursing subject matter expert and provides direct patient care.
- Plan, directs, and evaluates all ambulatory nursing activities within the clinic.
- Identify strategies to enhance patient access, improve population health metrics, and reduce administrative burden.
- Lead evidence based practice, quality improvement, utilization management, and Joint Commission preparedness.
- Provide education and clinical guidance to nursing staff, students, residents, physicians, and administrators.
