This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
- Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience and creative approaches to management of complex client care beyond the immediate practice setting. Demonstrates expert-level nursing practice by applying the full nursing process to achieve evidence-based, data-driven outcomes that extend beyond the immediate practice setting. Leads initiatives that elevate Veteran-centered care, improving patient experience, satisfaction, and safety across broader clinical areas. Drives high-level collaboration and communication to strengthen outcomes beyond the immediate practice setting. Professional development is advanced through continual knowledge expansion, practice evaluation, and dissemination of expertise to others. Leads the identification, integration, and application of evidence-based practice and research to enhance care quality and optimize resource utilization, resulting in improved outcomes that influence practice beyond the immediate practice setting. Performs other related duties as assigned, which are appropriate for this grade and assignment.
