The Clinical Analyst Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing local level analysis of data to support nursing evaluation and quality endeavors and delivers fundamental knowledge characterized by assuming responsibility and accountability for analysis within the service and contributes to the organizational mission.

  • The Clinical Analyst will demonstrate professionalism by building, supporting, and creating alignments for data management best practices, analytic initiatives, and innovation through collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Collects data and develops charts that enable the service to make data driven decisions. Participates in data analysis projects using qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, statistical analysis, surveys, site visits and observations. Investigates any data discrepancies in a timely manner and presents findings to management. Follows established performance metrics and works with other staff members to identify problem areas and potential solutions. Participates in the development of logical business models and relational databases to programmatically prepare data for analysis. Participates in the design of algorithms, workflow processes, and layouts for data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes. Develops databases and/or data management systems that allow for the storage, query, protection, and utilization of data. Trains staff on the use of software programs. Meets the needs of all customers while supporting the Medical Center and Service missions. Consistently communicates and treats customers (patients, visitors, volunteers, and all Medical Center staff) in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner. Provides the customers with consistent information according to established policies and procedures. Handles conflict and problems in dealing with the customer constructively and appropriately.
