- Provide practical nursing care to patients in the inpatient setting with a variety of medical conditions.
- Perform tasks such as record vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report significant findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.
- Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and respiratory therapies, under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed medical practitioner.
- Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
