About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
- Provide full range of direct anesthetic services and pain management to eligible beneficiaries of a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Military Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Provide immediate, post-operative care to patients transported to the PACU, intensive care unit, or recovery area by ensuring unobstructed airway, hemodynamic stability, optimal pain control, and appropriate level of consciousness of the patient.
- Review and evaluate current professional journals, anesthesia-related literature and peer-reviewed data to facilitate discussion and aid in the determination of the optimal anesthetic plan.
- Participate in the DoD Outcomes Management Initiative to improve long-term and continuing health care outcomes for the patient population served.
- Provide oversight and instruction to other CRNAs, students, and ancillary workers in the field of anesthesia, in both clinical and administrative areas.
