About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Belle Chasse, Dir of Medicine, Family Medicine. Provides professional nursing services and related duties during operating hours to eligible beneficiaries in an outpatient setting. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.
- Independently perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.
- Identify clinical, administrative, and staffing complications and independently utilize problem solving techniques to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Observe and record pertinent vital signs and order laboratory procedures on patients that may be required for clinician.
- Ensure administrative requirements related to patient’s visit are completed timely and correctly.
