About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. - Anesthetize patients for a broad range of surgery to include but not limited to pediatric surgery; Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT); Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN); orthopedics; oral maxillofacial surgery, and Gastrointestinal (GI) procedures.
- Administer anesthetics to patients by inhalation, regional, intravenous, local, or topical means.
- Determine the appropriate anesthetic agent and method of administering the agent.
- Monitor patients' fluid loss.
- Supervise and monitor the quality of anesthesia care administered by the student nurse anesthetists.
