About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center - Department of Pediatrics in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
- Perform independent comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging for walk-in patients to assess condition severity and determine the necessary level of provider intervention.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary care coordination, execute provider orders, screen medical history charts, and establish care priorities while tracking patient progress.
- Consult and instruct patients on self-care, self-medication, acute/chronic illness management, and preparation for procedures.
- Prepare and administer medications, assist providers with clinical procedures, and monitor pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patients.
- Assist with clinic staff orientation, evaluate and document nursing staff competencies, and ensure staff maintain required licenses and certifications.
