Three colleges make up the Ventura County Community College District: Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura, with the district office in Camarillo. Ventura College was the first institution of higher education in Ventura County and has been teaching for nearly a century; Moorpark has served its community since 1967 and enrolls more than 13,000 students each semester, with Ventura College above 11,000.
