Tulsa Health Department careers

Some 675,000 Tulsa County residents, spread over 13 municipalities, count on the Tulsa Health Department as their primary public health agency. Established in 1950, it works from nine locations around the county with a staff of roughly 335, and the portfolio is public health in full: immunizations, WIC, disease surveillance and outbreak investigation, food safety and housing inspections, and birth and death records. This is clinical government work at county scale, prevention and protection rather than hospital care.
