About the Position: This position is located at Wilford Hall, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Provide Occupational Medicine services to employees in various occupations, of various ages, and with various health issues.
- Perform occupational physical examinations of various types including pre-placement, medical surveillance, medical qualification, disability retirement, fitness for duty, and any other special employee examinations.
- Counsel employees on workplace hazards and exam results.
- Interpret ancillary test results for evidence of possible occupational disease or confounding personal health conditions.
- Diagnose and appropriately consult for follow-up evaluations for conditions discovered as a result of the occupational medical examinations.
