Crescenz VAMC (CMCVAMC). He/she will be a board eligible or board-certified Radiologist Physician who provides interpretive and patient care services within the scope of Diagnostic Imaging. He/she will be a sub-specialist expert in Neuroradiology: as such, fellowship training in neuroradiology is strongly preferred. The nature of the work is inpatient and outpatient hospital-based care to veterans who need diagnostic and image-guided imaging services. Duties include, but not limited to: Reviews information from the electronic chart. Reviews and interprets diagnostic imaging examinations. Provides a comprehensive report of imaging examinations. For Diagnostic Imaging procedures, completes documentation of the procedure, including dictation and post procedural notes. Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality of patient medical information Supervises and trains medical students, residents and other learners. Involvement in quality management and patient safety involving Diagnostic Imaging Attends additional meetings and educational opportunities with Service Chief or Section Chief approval.
