Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to lead nutrition groups designed for women, as well as work with individual clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals dealing with disordered eating, eating disorders, or nutrition-related challenges, especially within a therapeutic setting.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
Hours: Monday-Friday during the day
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead four weekly nutrition groups tailored to the unique needs of women in treatment.
- Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, nutritional guidance that aligns with the mental health goals of our clients.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare providers to create integrated care plans.
- Educate clients on the role of nutrition in mental health, emotional well-being, and recovery.
- Offer practical strategies for balanced eating, mindful eating practices, and coping with dietary challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on client progress and participation in group sessions.
- Stay current on best practices in nutrition, particularly as they relate to eating disorders and emotional health.
- Coordinate, shop for, and maintain the program's client snack supply.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of Utah.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition/medical nutrition therapy, with a focus on mental health and/or women's health preferred.
- Eating disorder experience strongly preferred/required.
- Strong group facilitation skills and the ability to engage clients in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
- Familiarity with therapeutic settings and an understanding of the connection between nutrition and mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Emerge Treatment)
