About the Position: This position is with the 15th Medical Group at JBPHH-Hickam, located on Hickam AFB in Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Perform a wide range of complex physical therapy duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based medicine and data collection.
- Provide evaluation and therapeutic interventions to a full range of wounded, ill, and injured service members.
- Perform comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal evaluations (in a physician extender role) on patients presenting with medical or surgical diagnoses with or without physician referral.
- Design treatment plans to meet patient/clinical objectives to maximize restoration of physical and adaptive roles and functions.
- Direct and coordinate military and civilian physical therapy assistants and technicians engaged in performing physical therapy care and treatment.
