About the Position: Market pay is determined by an Activity Compensation Panel of peer physicians who will evaluate the selectee's clinical specialty, board certifications, regional market data, and depth of professional experience. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Serve as a Physician (Psychiatry) in a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) providing examinations, diagnoses, and treatment of mental health diseases.
- Provide ambulatory outpatient treatment and consultative services.
- Monitors treatment effectiveness through evidence-based medicine.
- Provide therapeutic treatment services.
- Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) functions, performance improvement, risk management, and peer review programs.
