SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for performing multi-faceted clerical duties to assist the Technologist and Radiologist to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2 years’ experience in receptionist, customer service, or general office preferred
Other: Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Spend eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse daily, performing clerical duties in the Radiology department and Mobile Mammography Unit. Ability to stand and walk, occassionally bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Office staff: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts; Weekend Shift-16 hour shifts
