About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Moncrief, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Recruitment and Relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Initiates, implements, plans and recommends progressive treatment plan of patient's.
- Documents information related to patient's care in accordance with guidelines from the American Physical Therapy Association, the Joint Commission, current protocols and as directed by the supervisor.
- Tracks procedure's long and storm term effects on patients, of different types of therapy and appropriateness of a specific therapy.
- Provides instruction to patients, family members and other health workers to perform selected treatment procedures and functional training activities.
- Performs complex Physical Therapist Assistant duties requiring knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based medicine and data collection for evaluations and treatments.
