About the Position: This position is located in the Outpatient Pharmacy at 28th Medical Group, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Receive and review prescriptions for the full range of pharmaceuticals to include controlled drugs on the formulary.
- Determine type of substance, strength, dosage, and quantity to be dispensed.
- Enter prescriptions into outpatient computer system.
- Review patient profile for allergies, drug/drug or drug/food interactions, and duplicate orders.
- Scan and fill the prescriptions.
