This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. • Physician Assistant (PA) for Cardiology functions as an advanced practice provider within the Cardiology Section of Medicine Service. The incumbent provides comprehensive cardiovascular care in outpatient, inpatient, virtual, and procedural settings. The PA evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and conditions while working collaboratively with cardiologists, primary care providers, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members. The PA practices with a high degree of autonomy consistent with approved clinical privileges, scope of practice, facility bylaws, and VA regulations. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
