This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. • The Cardiology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) invites applications for a full-time position as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist. The successful candidate will participate in the Heart Failure services at VABHS including ambulatory cardiology clinic and inpatient care. They will work with the Director of Heart Failure service, Heart Failure NPs and Fellows, and the general cardiology teams to optimize the delivery of advanced care to heart failure patients. They will focus on the Cardiac Amyloid program, the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy program, and work closely with our affiliates (MGB) on developing an advanced heart failure program. The successful candidate will also participate in the general cardiology services at VABHS including inpatient care. The position involves significant engagement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in both outpatient and inpatient settings. They will manage the Attending schedules, assess equipment needs, and conduct other administrative roles to ensure the efficient success of the service. The successful candidate must have American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and have training in and must have American Board Certification or eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor will be provided commensurate with experience and accomplishments. VABHS is the major tertiary referral center for Veterans throughout New England and is strongly affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine.
