About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Madigan Army Medical Center, Operational Medicine Department, located at Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal Service.
- Deliver full spectrum of outpatient care, manages acute/chronic conditions for patients of all ages, performs diagnostic evaluations, and conducts ambulatory procedures within granted privileges.
- Completes deployment, preventive, personnel reliability program, security, overseas, line of duty, and fitness for duty medical assessments for all beneficiary categories.
- Provides clinical/administrative leadership, supervises Patient Centered Medical Home staff, manages access to care, and oversees population health and resource utilization.
- Participates in committees, accreditation activities, peer review, policy development, and serves as preceptor while maintaining professional competency.
- Engage in disaster training and provides primary care support during real world emergencies per the Medical Contingency Response Plan.
