This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Directorate of Medicine, Internal Medicine Service, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
- Serve on an inpatient medical ward team in delivering health care for inpatients in a ward, step-down and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environments.
- Provide consultative services with physician over-site within the inpatient ward.
- Provide out-patient services within the Internal Medicine Clinic for acute, routine, inpatient follow up or consultative type appointments.
- Record entries into patient’s chart, including daily progress notes with test results, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Write prescriptions and order the administration of medications for patients in accordance with approved treatment protocols.
