About the Position: This position is located in an inpatient, outpatient clinic or other setting associated with the Naval Health Clinic Quantico and serves as the primary Physical Therapist in support of the overall program objectives. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Perform a range of complex physical therapy duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based medicine, and data collection.
- Evaluate and treat all levels of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Plan, coordinate and implement goal-oriented group and/or focused individual physical therapy treatment programs.
- Develop protocols and standard operating procedures for physical therapy programs.
- Serve as member of various integrated, interdisciplinary/planning teams that plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate individual care plans for and progress of patients participating in the program.
