This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Perform and provide diagnosis on specimens obtained by fine-needle aspiration. Diagnosis of surgical and cytologic specimens; interact with providers to offer expert consultation services on follow-up case material. Perform gross and microscopic examination of tissue and cytologic material and provide reports in a timely manner. Participates in quality improvement activities within the service; support cost-effective use of resources regarding laboratory operations. Participate in the review of quality control data, proficiency testing results, and other internal service data reviews to meet regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned.
