This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Attending in the VACCHS Emergency Department to provide direct patient care. Clinical activities may take place during VA off-tour hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Clinical duties may encompass both in-person and virtual care modalities. Didactic teaching of trainees including students and residents. Clinical supervision of trainees in the Emergency Department and in any assigned clinical duties. Participation in administrative duties as assigned, which may include Process Improvement/Quality Assurance activities or other activities. Availability for scheduled "on call" backup duties.
