This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
- Major Duties Provide inpatient and outpatient care. Evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers. Conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing. Plan and prescribe treatment for patients. Coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers. Perform and supervise procedures related to neurodegenerative diseases. Perform administrative tasks as assigned. Provide Neurology on-call services as assigned. Perform clinical privileges within the Neurology privileges approved by MEC. Complete CME, VA Training, HIPAA, Security training and other mandatory trainings. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
