This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Perform and/or interpret studies utilizing PACS and voice recognition systems. Meet productivity benchmarks and would be responsible for interpretation of studies and report generation for all studies that he/she is credentialed to perform/ interpret. All studies and clinical notes should be dictated and signed in a timely manner. The physician is expected to communicate directly with ordering providers on all critical findings. The physician will participate in peer review activities as well as attend clinical conferences as assigned by the Service Chief or designee. The physician may be assigned equitable night call and weekend back-up duties as needed. The physician may also teach, supervise, and evaluate radiology residents and medical students from affiliated medical schools.
