The Vascular Surgery Department staff surgeon routinely performs outpatient and inpatient vascular examinations, determines diagnoses, and initiates treatments that emphasize education. The staff Surgeon serves as a consultant to other medical center staff and trainees. Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) has an established residency program with Vanderbilt University Medical Center Residents, as well as Podiatry Residency program who rotate through the Vascular Surgery Department,

Perform peripheral vascular, endovascular and intraoperative vascular imaging procedures and interpret vascular lab studies. Conduct inpatient rounds, surgeries, and clinic services and provide resident supervision as needed and required. Providing patients with education concerning their disease state and expected treatment regimen. Supervise technicians during vascular lab performance, as needed or as required. Provides the customers with consistent information according to established policies and procedures. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours are based on needs of the service
