About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement. - Serves as a technical authority to independently plan and carry out the assigned work to be performed by the staff.
- Provides expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.
- Provides Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services such as surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy services and transfusion medicine, core lab, and microbiology services.
- Cuts surgical specimens from surgical, radiological, and other invasive procedures, render expert gross and microscopic diagnoses, and perform frozen section evaluations as requested.
- Interprets and establish policies and procedures and determines their effect on program needs.
