About the Position: This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.
- Performs clinical laboratory testing of human blood, urine, and other body fluids or tissues using manual or automated techniques
- Provides technical guidance and quality assurance oversight on a full range of processes conducted in the laboratory.
- Calibrates, standardizes, adjusts, and maintains instruments
- Recommends new or modified procedures be incorporated when appropriate.
- Trains new staff clinical laboratory scientists/technicians and students in procedures, instrumentation, and workload organization.
