This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Ability to implement treatment strategies for skin diseases. Ability to perform and interpret the results of laboratory tests from blood, skin and other tissues as well as skin biopsies to evaluate skin diseases and the effect(s) of therapy. Ability to guide clinical trainees in Dermatology providing both didactic and experiential teaching. Ability to provide professional (in-person or through telemedicine means) advice and consultation in areas related to skin disease. Knowledge of clinical research literature related to skin diseases. Adhere to established tour of duty hours. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
