This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Directorate of Family Medicine, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
- Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within a Primary Health Care Clinic.
- Secure health and medical history from the patient or family member, record findings, and make clinical evaluation for assigned patients.
- Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.
- Write prescriptions, orders the administration of medications, dispense, and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice.
- Order laboratory tests, x-rays, etc., and arranges for physician consultation if required.
