About the Position: This is a Physician Assistant position located at Naval Air Station San Diego (North Island), California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Perform medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.
- Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.
- Secure health and medical history from the patient or family member, records findings and makes clinical evaluation.
- Provide primary care and preventive services to healthy individuals, including guidance on common illnesses, accidents, and alternative drug usage.
- Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members, regarding treatment and medical care.
